DREAM GETAWAY SWEEPSTAKES

These are the Official Rules for the Spot® Dream Getaway Pet/Parent Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"). The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Spot Pet Insurance Services, LLC ("Spot"), located at 990 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, FL 33132.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. ELIGIBILITY

‍

1.1 Open to Legal Residents of Certain States. The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of all U.S. states, excluding Washington. Participants must be (a) at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater, and (b) legal residents of the U.S.

1.2 Spot Excluded. Employees, agents, and representatives of Spot may enter the Sweepstakes but are not eligible to win any prize.

‍

1.3 No Other Sponsorship. The Sweepstakes is not sponsored or endorsed by any company other than Spot Pet Insurance Services, LLC. LinkedIn, TikTok or X (formerly known as Twitter) do not sponsor or endorse, and are not connected in any way to this Sweepstakes.

2. HOW TO ENTER

‍

2.1 Sweepstakes Period. The Sweepstakes begins on April 1, 2025, at 12:01 AM EDT and ends on May 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM EDT("Sweepstakes Period"). One (1) winner will be selected at the end of the Sweepstakes Period.

2.2 Entry Methods.

To Enter:

During the Sweepstakes Period, Spot Pet Insurance will provide an entry link where applicants must complete and submit a questionnaire about their pet. Upon submission, applicants will have the option to continue onto the quote form, but obtaining a quote is not required for entry. Declining to obtain a quote or opting out of marketing communications will not impact Sweepstakes eligibility.

Extra Entries:

After completing the questionnaire, applicants can earn up to 6 additional entries (one extra entry per action) by completing any of the following through the widget options provided on the Sweepstakes Entry page:

  • Uploading a photo/video of their pet.
  • Following Spot Pet Insurance on TikTok, LinkedIn, or X (formerly known as Twitter). Limit one (1) entry per follow per platform.
  • Generating a link to share the sweepstakes with a friend.
  • Visiting the Spot website to learn more about Spot Pet Insurance Plans.

Additional Method for Extra Entries:

After completing the questionnaire, entrants may alternatively obtain the maximum six (6) extra entries without completing the above actions under “Extra Entries” by sending an email to spotsweepstakes@spotpet.com with the subject line “Luxury Sweepstakes Extra Entries” and including their full name, phone number, state of residence, and mailing address. Entrant must email Spot from the same email listed in their entry form. The email must be received by the Sweepstakes deadline to be considered valid.

All questionnaire entries and any extra entries must be submitted within the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible. Limit: One (1) questionnaire entry per person. All entries, including alternative extra entries, are subject to verification. Any fraudulent, incomplete, or duplicate entries may result in disqualification.

2.3 Entry Restrictions.

  • Limits: One (1) questionnaire entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period. All extra entries are limited to one (1) additional entry per completed action.
  • 6 total entries possible per entrant.
  • Spot reserves the right to disqualify anyone who submits multiple form entries.
  • Spot will not consider ineligible, illegible, or incomplete submissions.

2.4 General Conditions.

  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Spot, which are final.
  • Spot is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries.
  • Spot reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Official Rules or tampers with the Sweepstakes process.

2.5 Participant Consent. By entering, participants consent to Spot's use of their submitted materials, including photos and/or videos, for Sweepstakes administration. Winners agree that Spot may use their name, likeness, and image for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. If an entrant opts into marketing communications or obtains a quote through the entry link provided, they consent to Spot and its affiliates contacting them via email, text, or phone (including auto-dialers).

3. Winner Selection & Notification‍

One (1) winner will be randomly selected via Gleam, a sweepstakes platform, from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified via email within five (5) business days. If the winner does not respond within five (5) business days or is ineligible, Spot may select an alternate winner.

‍

4. Prizes

‍

4.1 Grand Prize.

  • ‍‍One (1) winner will receive a vacation package valued at $5,000 USD, consisting of the following components:
    • One (1) $2,000 gift card to Hotelgift.com (for hotel accommodations)
    • One (1) $1,500 American Airlines gift card for the flight for the winner and their pet
    • One (1) $1,500 AMEX gift card for spending money during the vacation, to be used at the winner's discretion for amenities or other expenses related to the trip.

Prize details, including location and services, may be subject to change based on availability but will remain within the budget. The winner is responsible for using the prize funds to book the advertised stay. Spot will provide the winner with the necessary details for booking the flight and accommodations, including the airline, hotel, and airport options, allowing the winner to choose a time that works best for them. The winner must complete all bookings using the provided gift cards and adhere to the terms and conditions of each gift card issuer.

4.2 Expenses & Taxes.

  • Prize winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted, except at Spot's discretion.
  • The winner will need to provide a W-9 form before receiving their prize. The winner will then be issued a Form 1099-MISC for the total value of the prize and must provide any necessary tax identification information to Spot before the prize is awarded. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.

4.3 Legal Requirements. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and publicity release within three (3) days of notification. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize.

5. General Rules

‍

5.1 Compliance with Laws. The Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

‍

5.2 Spot's Rights. Spot reserves the right to:

  • Void any entry suspected of tampering or disrupting the Sweepstakes process.
  • Modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
  • Select a winner from all eligible entries received before termination if the Sweepstakes ends early.

5.3 Odds: The total number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning.

6. Governing Law & Disputes

‍

6.1 Governing Law. This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

‍

6.2 Dispute Resolution. Except where prohibited, entrants agree that all disputes shall be resolved individually and waive the right to a class action. Entrants further waive any right to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to all entrants.

6.3 Limitation of Liability. By entering, participants agree to release Spot and its affiliates from any claims related to:

  1. Acceptance, possession, or misuse of any prize.
  2. Technical failures or unauthorized intervention.
  3. Errors in Sweepstakes administration or prize processing.

7. Privacy

By entering, participants agree to Spot's Privacy Policy, available at: https://spotpet.com/privacy. Personal information may be used for marketing purposes.

For an Official Winner List (available 30 days after the Sweepstakes end date) or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:
